Situated in the heart of the photogenic rolling hills of the Kraichgau, often affectionately called the Baden Tuscany, the enchanting half-timbered town of Eppingen awaits your discovery. A stroll through the carefully preserved historic town center feels like a fascinating journey back in time. Magnificent, elaborately restored half-timbered houses from various eras line the ancient cobblestone alleys, with the impressive Baumann House, featuring its intricate artistic carvings, standing out as one of the absolute architectural highlights of the entire region. However, Eppingen is not only a haven for architecture enthusiasts but also serves as an excellent starting point for extended hikes and relaxed cycling tours through the gentle vineyards and vast forests of the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park. Following the successful hosting of the regional garden show, the town's green spaces and parks shine in a new light, inviting visitors to enjoy relaxing hours outdoors. Culinarily, the town also has much to offer: in the cozy Baden wine taverns and traditional inns, you can savor regional specialties such as Maultaschen or onion roast beef, perfectly paired with an excellent glass of wine from the surrounding local vineyards. Eppingen thus harmoniously combines historical charm, nature-oriented recreation, and genuine Baden hospitality.
