To avoid the weekend crowds coming up from the coast, ski early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
The road to the resort can be snowy; snow chains are often mandatory. Check the conditions before you leave.
The resort is a 1970s concrete complex. Don't expect a traditional village atmosphere, but enjoy the ski-in/ski-out convenience.
For a wide-open view of the Southern Alps and, on clear days, all the way to the Mediterranean Sea, take the lift to the Cime de Sistron.
