The SOCAR Polymer plant in Sumgait is one of the most advanced petrochemical facilities in the entire Caucasus region and a flagship project for Azerbaijan's industrial development. Officially opened in 2018, the plant is a key part of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park. The facility consists of two main production lines: one for polypropylene and another for high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
