With a daily processing capacity of approximately 187,000 barrels, the plant plays a crucial role in domestic fuel supply and exports. The refinery includes specialized units for distillation, catalytic cracking, and desulfurization to produce high-quality products such as gasoline, diesel, and kerosene. Continuous modernization programs, particularly the Deep Conversion Project using HDH-Plus technology, have significantly increased the efficiency of processing lower-quality feedstocks. Geographically, the facility is strategically positioned on the Caribbean Sea, allowing direct access to international shipping lanes.
