The village retains a traditional maritime feel with a quaint high street, making it excellent for a peaceful getaway. Visitors can enjoy two spectacular main beaches: the expansive Traeth Mawr and the cozier Traeth Bach. Both are sheltered sandy bays providing handy conditions for families, safe swimming, and rock pooling at low tide. Traeth Mawr features a well-maintained coastal promenade. Beyond the beaches, Cemaes has excellent walking along the Anglesey Coastal Path. Hikers enjoy panoramic views of the Irish Sea. Local pubs serve fresh seafood and classic Welsh dishes. Access is straightforward via the A5025 road, making it a great destination.
