Villa Somalia

Villa Somalia is the official residential and workplace of the President of Somalia, located in the capital city of Mogadishu. Originally constructed in the 1930s by the Italian colonial authorities, the complex was known as Villa del Governatore and reflects a prominent Art Deco architectural style. Following Somalia's independence in 1960, it became the seat of the national government and has remained a symbol of state sovereignty through various political eras.
