Located within the historic Niš Fortress in Serbia, the remains of the vaulted building and basilica represent a significant archaeological discovery that sheds light on the ancient city of Naissus. The fortress area itself has been inhabited for over two millennia, with Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans leaving their architectural marks.
