Tatsugo

Tatsugo is located on the subtropical island of Amami Oshima and is the home of traditional Oshima Tsumugi silk weaving. The town features some of Japan's most striking beaches, including the famous Tomori Beach (土盛海岸), often called the island's most beautiful. Surfers especially appreciate Tebiro Beach (手広海岸), which attracts wave-riders from around the world.
