Getting there
The historic garden is located directly along the main coastal road in the south of the island and is easily accessible by rental car. The main entrance is usually well signposted and quite easy to find.
Best season
The sprawling garden is appealing year-round, but blooms particularly magnificently during the slightly warmer, wetter months. Short rain showers are possible, yet they make the exotic flora shine even more intensely.

Expansive, flat lawns and wide walking paths predominantly characterize the overall look of this very well-kept facility. The terrain is effortlessly walkable for all age groups and requires absolutely no special fitness.
What to bring
Light, comfortable footwear, a wide sun hat, and a camera are perfectly sufficient for a very leisurely stroll. Mosquito repellent can be highly useful in the deeply shaded, windless corners beneath large old trees.
Parking
Directly in front of the main entrance, there is usually a paved parking area that visitors can use completely free of charge. There is almost always ample space available, even around busy mid-day hours.

The enclosed facility is very safe and highly suitable for families visiting with small children. Visitors are simply asked not to stray from marked paths to avoid damaging the sensitive and sometimes historic plant roots.
