Pulhapanzak
Pulhapanzak is more than just a striking waterfall; it is a full adventure destination. The Lindo River drops over a limestone cliff here, creating a natural spectacle that can be experienced up close. Thrill-seekers can join a guided tour behind the water curtain or fly over the falls on a series of high-adrenaline ziplines. The area surrounding the falls also contains traces of an ancient civilization, with unexcavated archaeological mounds nearby. There are manicured paths, natural swimming holes, and picnic areas that make it a great spot for both families and adventurers. The thunderous roar of the water and the lush tropical backdrop create a truly powerful atmosphere. The falls are located a short drive from Lake Yojoa and are easily accessible from San Pedro Sula. The best time to visit is from October to February, following the rainy season, when the water flow is at its peak. On-site facilities include restaurants serving traditional Honduran food and refreshments.
